TV is old fashioned and lack of children TV channels The hotel is located nearby airport by only 20 minutes drive. The local tour services are available in the hotel and very convenient to schedule our time to explore Samui Island. The swimming pools are beautiful especially the sea water one that is right in front of the beach. The hotel environment and services are excellent and highly recommended for family and honeymooners. Definitely will return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The local tours are very organized and a lot of fun.

Beautiful beach, the garden very chaming and Thai massage at Sa-La Lom Loy are excellented. Would like to see more non-smoking area. My husband and I travel a lot through worldwide.
We never ever wriht a comment about hotel. For this one, we have a wonderful time at Imperial Samui Hotel for 3 nights and would like to cheer up the stuff of Imperial Samui....everybody, you are the best! While we there we do not thing expect lay down on the beach and have a massage. The swimming pool are glad. I see have other family bring the chidren, they seem like it a lot. We will be back agian soon!
Hotel Feature Tip : The building of this hotel are more then 20 year but condition are still excellent and chaming. The beach walk down hill little bit, good for exercise and not hard at all cause we walk through the beautiful garden.

First impression of resort is very important when staying anywhere especially in another country the imperial Samui certainly makes you feel relaxed and happy with your joice, we were concerned re-room as we booked a junoir suite and later read the resort is very steep and lots of steps which are not good for my bad hip and knee, from the onset the staff were very obliging and re assured a buggy was available at all times free of charge to go to breakfast or to lobby for tour or shuttle pick up this was a big relief to us and a nice start to our holiday. On entering you are greeted with a smile a seat and a welcoming fruit drink and cold towel then taken to your room by buggy staff asked if room was satisfactory and offered to show another room closer to beach front which we took instead it was room 201 about 40meters from ocean and near beach bar pool and restaurant it was a private type of cottage although not Thai theme but very comfortable all the same. A welcome fruit basket and small flower arrangement was given which was nice. We can't say enough of the friendly and professionalism of staff english was sufficent to communicate, pool towels ready available at pool hut lovely beach chairs and drink service. Gardens are beautiful and maintained very well as are the pools. Breakfast excellent choices and very fresh foods. We have been to Phuket twice and this hotel meets all expectations of Thai hospitality. Restaurant [Tara] near pool has lovely food but you can eat for half the price along the beach but of course the beach restaurants do not have the lovely enviroment. not much to complain about this hotel is well run,very clean and no real issues except you are not able to order room service breakfast for a treat but not really a big deal.Maybe they should not charge for shuttle into chaweng other resorts provide it free. Excellent reception, very welcoming and professional at all times nothing to much trouble for all staff trough out the hotel. Pool and gardens are very well maintained. Quality of food and variety is first class, cocktail party on tuesday night free drinks and savouries to meet the manager, good massage facilities in hotel and also on beach area good prices. Any requests were met promptly eg. jug of milk for coffee and doona over mattress to soften bed as all beds in Thailand seem to be very hard from our experiences.Honestly although hotel rooms are of mediateranian decor [which we new from pictures] everything is lovely if you did not enjoy stay it would be very unusual.[stayed 5 nights october 2009] Charm and Love restaurants just down beach excellent food and cheap.Also the beach area is the nicest in khosamui and very clean.
Restaurant Tip : Charm and Love restaurants short distance up beach great food and very cheap although not flash tables and chairs staff great and you sit at tables on the sand it is lovely, also cheap laundry service and massage next door to it.There if a foodmart across from hotels front entrance for buying what you need.
