i) rooms do need to be renovated, but this did not detract from an excellent holiday experience Our travel party consisted of 7 people, a mixture of parents kids and grand kids. All of the staff from the gardeners to the front desk were very friendly, and professional, the rooms, breakfast were of a good standard,and excellent value for money. The amenties were very good especially for families. The Hotel's location is excellent, close to all the night life, and eating places, but far enough away not to hear any noise. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - excellent
Shopping Tip : always negotiate, if you never ask, you will never get, for example,
i)Fantasea Show is 2,400 baht ask for a discount, usually they will take 300 baht off - this is the transport cost

Close to everything,restaurants within the resort resonably priced,staff were amazing catered your every need,great cocktails. No clocks in the rooms,which made it hard to know the time.The bath & shower leaked flooding the bathroom floor after every use. It was our first time using agoda and had never been to thailand before we chose thara patong because it was priced well and so close to everything.When we arrived the hotel was everything and more couldnt really fault a thing.the service was over whemling the staff really looked after you the resort was clean all the time,the pools were great.the bar staff at the palms bar,very friendly and made great cocktails in happy hour.the hotel is central to evrything the beach is straight across the road and in walking distance no need to get cabs or tuk tuks.loved every minute would not hesitate to recommand this resort and next time were in thailand will stay there again.
Shopping Tip : Shop number 5 along the beach road right down the end just before absolute hotel,there service was great and we got some very good prices on designer bags.we ended going back three more times because they looked after us.

The hotel staff are always, will do anything to help & have some sound advice for shopping & night life.
The rooms are great, & are at a wonderful price. Have stayed here twice now & would go back to stay there again.
The location is great, & very quite at night, have stayed at a few places in Patong & this is the best.
Nightlife Tip : very close to all the night life but quite when you get home.
