Very friendly staff, fabulous location, can walk to almost everything, beautiful pool and gardens, great massages, good variety and freshly cooked breakfast, great restaraunt for dinner, good internet access, quick and delicious room or pool side service. A little bit pricey for the room quality. Beds are extremely hard. We had a very nice stay at Thara Patong, we would definitely go back, Pros outweigh the cons for sure.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We had great pedicures and massages at the salon next to the front entrance, we also had a great tour operator...... out the front entrance, turn right, walk (run) across the intersection and there she is on the corner, best value by far.

breakfast is great.. most hotel ends at 1030.. this hotel in not rush to kick people out at 11am... some rooms are still refubshed , and some rooms need to upgrade.. as we hae had a room after several tour to view some rooms until we are satisfied ( barein mind this may not be possible if hotel is full ) we have totally enjoyed were we have stayed and would consider the same when return some facilities very old and torned... 4stars
Shopping Tip : near all facility.. restaurant goers dont bother the seafood at the beach frong.. very very expensive, lots of other choices if you take time to walk away from beach

- Very close to the beach. 2 minutes walk to the beach.
- The swimming pool are very beautiful and maintained - Hotel is quite old and has a smell.
- To walk out to the shops require us to walk 10-15 mins. Quite inconvenient to walk via a forest to see the shops. The hotel is very near the beach 2 mins walking to the Karon Beach. However it's quite far away from the main shops. requires to walk about 10-15 mins to the shops.
The outside landscape is beautiful with full of coconut trees and plants.
Unfortunately, there was a smell in the room maybe because the hotel is quite old. There are alot of moisquitos at night.
Overall, the hotel condition is good and close to the beach. But quite far from shops.
