CAFÉ LOMA
Following a complete refit of the former Chok Dee Deli, Laguna Beach Resort has created a new restaurant named Café Loma. Guests have the option of sitting in the air-conditioned area or out in the terrace. Opens daily for a sumptuous buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The bright vibrant colours combined with the large windows provide a light airy ambiance with views looking over the Loma Terrace down to the Resorts cascading Lagoons and pools. With an open Kitchen Concept the guests will be entertained while the Chefs prepare the meals in front of their eyes. The extensive permanent buffet counters feature nightly themed buffets from around the world with live entertainment.
The a la carte menu will be a fusion of innovative Western and Asian cuisines presented with a modern touch.
It will open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm with seating capacity for 110 inside and additional 100 seats available on the Terrace
Andaman Pool Bistro
A popular venue to watch the sun go down while enjoying a long refreshing drink.
Overlooking the waterpark, enjoy a selection of cocktails, cool drinks and snacks served throughout the day or try our lunch special.
Located by the Beach at the Andaman sea, overlooking the waterpark. Enjoy a selection of light meals and snacks, fresh young coconuts and long cool drinks, either on dry land or at our swim-up bar.
Ideally suited for guests who are relaxing on the beach or at the waterpark, this Bistro offers outdoor dining and drinks throughout the day. Seating is available either at our terrace or under the open air covered area, and food & drinks are also served at the poolside and daily specials are also on offer, "Sunset Happy Hour" Available daily. Chai Nam Bar
Known as the meeting place, the Chai Nam, offers a wide selection of cocktails, long drinks, aperitifs and after dinner drinks. Ideal for a drink before dinner or a 'night cap' while you enjoy the live music of our resident band, who play from 9:00pm until 12:30am. Requests are welcome!
The centrally located Chai Nam Bar enjoys views over our reflecting pond, the Lagoon and our famous water park. It is great place to meet friends or other guests, either after a day sightseeing, shopping or relaxing in our Resort.
Enjoy a long cool drink, a pre dinner drink or after dinner drink while enjoying the sounds of our resident band who play a selection of popular songs and many of the old classics. Their voice range can offer anything from Celine Dion to Tina Turner, Elvis to Boy Zone and they welcome your requests.

Good location, nice rooms, great service, good value (this time of year) Could of done w/out band playing at bar. Too loud. Disrupted the quiet of the resort. Our second visit to Laguna Beach Resort. Will definely visit again. Location is great between a lagoon and the sea. You will need a map to find it if driving from the airport. All the turns are not obvious. The hotel set us up with an excursion to Phi Phi Island which was very well run. The food at the hotel is good and has diversity, but a little pricey. Rooms are spaciuos and comfortable. We received an upgraded room which was a nice treat. The pool area accomodates many so that you never feel crowed. We will be visiting again soon. It;s hard to stay away!
Restaurant Tip : Resturants on road that leads to hotel are worth checking out.

Food / Drinks at the Hotel pricey.
Arrived at the hotel to a nice welcome. They gave us cool drinks while they checked us in, and then took us to the room. Very nice room with canopy bed and ocean view. Also liked that there were 2 day beds and a large sofa. Great for a family with 3 small children (3/5/7). Asked housekeeping for extra sheets/blankets and they made up the day beds every day for our children.
They also gave us extra towels everyday without having to ask for them.
The beach was large and convenient from our room. Just walk downstairs and you are there pretty much. The ocean was a little rough this time of year- so didn't spend a lot of time there. Spoke to another guest who said when they came in January last year the water was like glass - so we were a little early in the season. The sand was nice but not powdery. Could be the tide was pretty far in - because when I walked out into the ocean about 5m (15 feet) the sand was very soft and powdery.
We rented 2 motor scooters from one of the stands on the beach for about 520 (260 each) Baht per day for 3 days. Had to negotiate from 400 per day per scooter. Allowed us to adventure to other beaches and areas. This gave us more freedom as to where to eat/shop etc.
The kids club is nice to drop off the kids for a few hours each day. They do fun activities and seems well supervised. For children under 4 you have to pay for a baby sitter (which can be booked in advance) Otherwise it's free for older children.
Overall we had a nice trip and would consider going back - but next time would go a little later in the year... maybe Nov. or Jan.
The massages just off the beach are no good! Don't waste money there.
Shopping Tip : In negotiating prices with street vendors always take 70% off and work up from there. You can usually buy things for less than 50% off the initially offered prices.

Very quite and romantic.The staff are very helpful Breakfast can be improved. This was our second time in this hotel and it is getting better.the location of this resort is my favourite with the direct view on the ocean and the nice walk around the lagoon.You can always take a trip to the nearby busy and noisy beaches if you want to be in middle of the action .I recommend this place for people with families as it is safe ,well controlled and well kept.
There are many shops along the beach in front of the hotel where youcan get many snaks and ,sodas ,T-shirts and other services for a very reasonable price.
Travel tip : You can book excellent tours from this hotel.Dont miss the sea cave tour (take the one which lasts till late at night )
