Near airport Nice layout of hotel

Location is far from golf course (except Blue Canyon), restaurants/shopping in the middle and further south in the island. Min 45 - 60 mins one way. A bit too spreadout so getting around the whole hotel can be challenge.

Although it is near the airport, it is very far away from all activities outside the hotel. Hence traveller will have to endure a one to two hour to and fro journey which starts from 500 baht (only to the airport) and can go much higher (journey to Sheraton and back was 2100 baht). Hotel food (Italian restaurant) is average only and can be improved upon. Very poor and expensive wine list.

Pick this if you want to escape from the city!

Definitely a tranquil place!

Nothing else outside the hotel!

Pick this hotel if you want a tranquil holiday in Phuket! It's purely relax and refresh! Forget it if you want a night life area just like the bar streets in Patong beach as it's 45 minutes away from there! Room is big and comfortable but the setup is a bit out fashioned.

Expensive. Prices comparable to U.S. Paying for Internet service (free at other five-star resorts in Phuket). Needs to beef up vegetarian options at its restaurants

Excellent experience. It's a huge resort with multiple pools and a top-notch beach. Note, you can't really run on the beach because it's sloped. Excellent fitness center, tennis pavillion and daily programs. we particularly enjoyed the morning yoga sessions in the covered pavillion despite fending off the pesky flies. We upgraded our room to a suite for extra and it was well worth it. The suite came with a large wraparound deck and a great pagoda with pool and ocean views.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a canoeing trip to see the caves and lagoons
