Great Pool Area

Older part of hotel - rooms need a bit of updating
Staff not that friendly in Hotel
Room Service need to pick up trays a lot sooner than 24hrs later.
Unfortunately, I stayed in the old part of the hotel. While the room was very spacious it was located on the main road where they had building going on across the road and beside the hotel - so a bit noisy.
My door was opened by staff while I was in the room on a few occasions (by accident I am sure) but annoying.
I received calls from Reception a few times (some very early in the morning) which were wrong numbers.
I did love the pool and the breakfast staff were great.
I would have loved to have stayed in one of the new rooms as I have watched this place being built over the years and thought it would be nice.
I can't really say what the whole resort is like as I only stayed in the older part.
Restaurant Tip : If you are looking for some good western food after eating Thai for a while, there is a pub/restaurant called The Islander down the 3rd Soi on the left from Rat U Thit Rd that has the best meals I have tasted and I have tasted a few.
For any tours or plane tickets go and see Paul and Noy at the Paradise Complex - Phuket Leisure Travel and Tour at 119 Rat U Thit Road. Best prices on tours in Patong.

Rooms are clean, large, airy and built with a good view of hotel's interior (pool);
Service staff (chamber maids) friendly and courteous;
Friendly staff serving the restaurants;
Buffet Breakfast spread needs improvement;
Should provide free wifi rather than charging. Even for paid internet, it is so difficult to have a card available (always told it is sold out)
Baumanburi delivers good quality room and service. Hotel facilities are good (the pool is gorgeous in design and very extensive; suitable for adults and children play). Deck chairs for sun basking were plenty! Staff are friendly. Hotel location at one end of Rat U Thit Road is only a short walk to the most touristy spot (Bang La Road; JungCeylon) and yet quiet at the hotel front. Food outlets and several money changers sprawled around the hotel. Great!
Shopping Tip : Two best places to shop and dine at Phuket - JungCeylong and Central Festival. To travel to Central Festival cheaply, walk towards Beach Road and board bus at 25Baht (40-50 mins journey). Remember to take bus back before 6pm or else motorbiles or tuk tuk will charge an exorbitant 200B/400B back to Patong!

Nice spaceus hotel, large poolarea.
They're adding both service charge and taxes onto everything. Id prefere if it all was included in the price.
Nice, large hotel with a great poolarea. Large breakfast buffet but there was still things I missed, like fresh water i.e. Not too friendly staff and too many of them could use an english course instantly. A bite too expensive- the cost doesnt really match what you get.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Dont stay in Patong any longer then you need to get rid of your jetlag. Travel to any island or just go south to any other nice beach.
