Good hotel to stay but bad manner from one of the front desk staff , the internet is really slow , the hotel is so secure. clean rooms . good room service. good house keeping. good location. and vary good manager. I wrote another review and explain everything . the patong beach is 5 to 6 min. walk. and nice two bars near the hotel and a good pharmacy too. The hotel count 400 baht per day for a very slow internet and count 150 baht for using the business center which I did not like. I've went to a very famous hotels by Agoda like La floora and Maninarakorn and they did not count any fees for using the internet in thier business center and the staff were so sweeti and had a lovly manner but not like Banthai Hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Patong beach is 5 min far from you.

Calm, clean, privacy, and security. Staff bad manner , front desk staff not smiling and rejecting guest to see the manager if the guest admit to see the manager ! It was inserested when I've spent 3 nights in Banthai hotel and when I've needed to extend my stay another 3 nights I've logged in the internet and it was night and I went through my agoda account and made a secont reservation. I went to the front desk and asked the staff was there to get in the Business center to login to my e-mail and print the reservation. He rudly said pay 150 baht ! I was shocked I said to myself am I in the hotel which I want to extend the stay ! I told him I need to print just the reservation to saty another 3 nights in your Hotel ! He Shaked his head and said again pay 150 baht ! I told him can I see the manager please ? he said NO No manager now ! I was really angry because of that and repeat again please I'm a guest here and I need to see the manager , he then talked to another staff in the front desk and then the manager came he was really good person and said that this is the rules I told him I dont have anything with the rules but rejecting guests from seeing the manager is another issue and he told me to send the agoda e-mail to him so he can print the reservation. that was my review about the rudness of the front desk of Banthai hotel otherwise everything went fine it is a good hotel to stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : patong beach just walk 5 min.

Pool access rooms, swim right to the bar!!!
Fantastic staff, very helpful.
Location location location!!! Our first night was in a noisy (weird humming) room, the staff did change our room the following night without issue.
Due to the poor weather (big thunderstorms in the early morning, the power was cut to the area and the generator in the hotel does not cover the airconditioning... was it got a little hot until they could sort it out. We had a fantastic stay at the Banthai, the hotel is immaculate with three fantastic pools and corresponding bars. The rooms are lovely and very well appointed and most of all the location is fantastic, very close to everything you'll need and right opposite the beach!!!
Nightlife Tip : Go down bangla road for a good laugh!!!
